Loved it!

I had an excellent stay at the Hotel de l’Avenir and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Paris who wants a good hotel on a budget. The staff was very nice (and patient with my bad French), helping me with wi-fi and reserving a cab for the airport. My room was clean, comfortable, and felt rather airy, with great windows overlooking Rue de Fleurus. The greatest plus is the hotel’s location: It’s only one block from the Luxembourg Gardens—looking out my window I could see the entrance. So terrific.
